Mad Cow Sydney
my first visit to the ivy complex. we went for the 2 course special for $40. the atmosphere was fantastic but the food was disappointing.
we had the salad and steak.
the annoying part was they charged a service charge - we asked what it was and they said it was an optional charge - then why include it in the bill.

Baja Cantina Glebe
Happened to be at glebe on sunday night. we ve been wanting to have mexican for a while. lots of choices on the menu and we settled for a prawn fajita - after seeing the next table and chicken tacos.
the fajitas come as a self serve - sizzling protein and dish with tomatoes lettuce rice beans and sour cream. it also comes with guacamole and salsa.
i personally preferred the tacos as i found the flour tortilla a bit dry.
overall a good meal. great vibe. very casual. my only complaint is that the tables r too small compared to the plates.

Praus Frozen Yoghurt Eastwood
frozen yoghurt seems to be the new in thing these days. this is located away from the main shops on the korean side of eastwood. having tried yogurberry which is 2 min away i think this one is much better.
it sells by weight - i think around $20 per kilo. it has more fresh fruit and i think the yoghurt tastes better. the main flavours are plain, pomegranate, green tea and peach.
